Opening Photo Attachment
Until yesterday I have had no problem opening photo attachments in "Outlook
Express." Now when I attempt to open them a notice tells me to "Create An Association In The Folder Options Control Panel." This is only happening with "Outlook Express." If I forward the same email to an alternate email address all works fine. Can someone please help me with this? Thank You, Jack |

Save the attachment to your HDD. Right click on it and Open With. Find and
choose a program that works and then check the box: Always use this program to open this kind of file. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Jack" wrote in message ... See the Identifying Attachment File Types and Setting File Associations
section of Decoding Internet Attachments - A Tutorial http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_san...e.htm#identify Are you using a different program for opening that photos? Did you recently install a new photo display or editing program? If you can save the photo from OE and then double click the saved file to open OK, then the issue is that the file association is missing the OPEN action that OE requires. You find out more about that in the above link. -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "Jack" wrote in message ...
