The rules i have got set up in OE6 work fine except for two email addresses
which I can not get to work. The rule states if sender is not in my address book send to specified folder. This works fine with everything except for any new email addresses that I add to my address book. I have tried deleting the old rule and starting again by adding the address book with the new addresses in it still to no avail the same email addresses not conforming to rule any help appreciated |

This is unusual. Make sure you have the correct addresses added. Best way is
to use the option to Automatically add people I reply to the Address Book. You needn't actually reply, just click Reply and then close out. This way there is no mistake. Sometimes, the Rules Key in the registry becomes corrupt, but I doubt that would explain your problem. Make sure there is no other rule that may be overriding this one, and check the following: In general: Have all rules that divert mail to folders first. Delete it from server next. All others last. Make sure that every rule also has Stop processing more rules checked, unless that option is grayed out. The addresses are set at the time you create the rule.
Did you try to modify the rule to add new addresses? The rule states if the address is not in the list of addresses, it doesn't say address book. -- Ron Sommer "John" wrote in message ... : The rules i have got set up in OE6 work fine except for two email addresses : which I can not get to work.
