The Relaying denied indicates you are not connected to the same ISP as the
SMTP server that is specified. Your SMTP server has to match that to which you are connected, or they won't let you send the mail. steve "Kyle JP" wrote in message ... Have you checked on what their limit is? -- Frank Saunders, MS-MVP OE/WM http://www.fjsmjs.com Answer in newsgroup. Don't send mail. |

It looks like Clearwire is using "POP-before-send" authentication. Lame. Passé. 20th Century authentication technology. Doesn't work well with MSOE because MSOE will attempt to send email before it executes a POP fetch. The error message suggests that they want you to use "POP-before-send" to authenticate to the server. MSOE likes to try to send before receiving (POP fetch) email. Based on the "Help" list above, try this first: Toosl | Accounts | Mail and select your mail account ('mail.clearwire.net'), and click on the "Properties" button. Select the "Servers" tab. Down where it says, "Outgoing Mail Server", put a check in the "My server requires authentication" box. That should be enough. Now try it. Report back. There may be one more easy step that needs to be done. The alternative will be pretty ugly. -- Norman ~Oh Lord, why have you come ~To Konnyu, with the Lion and the Drum |

He would have fixed that problem by doing what the error message says:
"You must check for new mail before sending mail". If you are having problems sending, you need to the post the full text of the error message that YOU are getting. The fix for your problem won't necessarily be the same as someone else.
