The problem is viewing Microsoft newsgroups on Outlook Express newsgroups.

If I sort the messages by "from" to see my messages I see (for example) 11
messages (see http://img153.imageshack.us/img153/7084/33xf5.gif )

But when selecting : View menu - Current View - Show Replies To My Messages

and there some messages are missing (all I can see is 8 messages) (see
http://img153.imageshack.us/img153/2816/22fu2.gif)

Some missing elements do have replies !!!

where are my "missing" messages ????????????

View Current View: What else is checked here beside "Show Replies to my
messages"?

Tools Options Read Get XX headers at a time: Trying unchecking this
option (especially when viewing a newsgroup such as WinXP General which can
get several thousand posts a week.

The selected options on "Current View":
"Show All Messages"
"Show replies to my messages"
"Group messages by conversation"

About "Get XX headers at a time". I do'nt think its the issue. I'm running
the option -right click on the Newsgroup, click Synchronize Settings and
select all messages.
with no luck.

I think that IS the problem.
If you click Tools is Get next ### headers grayed out? If not, click it.

Go to Tools | Options | Read and uncheck the option to download xxx headers
at a time. Then right click on the NG in the folder list and go to
Properties | Local File and click on the reset button followed by the
compact button. Then go back to the NG and you will get all the messages.

Well, then you can try setting up a new Identity add the newsserver there
and see if that's any better.

In the excluded range. The problem is obviously that you wrote
3 messages using a different E-mail address but with the same
display name.

Let's check. I see 4 messages from BoazBoaz
but only 2 of them use the E-mail address in this reply.

Oh, I see what is probably causing your problem.
You are posting using both OE where you are using
your real E-mail address and you are posting using the web interface
where you are using the default fake E-mail address.
The Show replies to my messages option works only
by E-mail address, not by From field display name.
So, to see your other threads you could temporarily
change your news account's properties to use the
other E-mail address. Then Show replies to my messages
would be based on that.

Seems that the answer to my issue is that opening an item on OUTLOOK EXPRESS
is treated differently then the items opened on the Internet site newsgroups
!!!
the OUTLOOK EXPRESS found "it's" items and the Internet site newsgroups
find its items. even if there both mine!!!
