My computer at home is set to display jpg files, if it is attached to an email,
within the body of the email itself. I don't have to click on the paperclip, etc. I'm at my father's house now and I'd like to set this one up the same way. For whatever reason I haven't found the secret handshake. Does anybody know how to do this? WinXP SP2/OE 6.00.2600 Thanks in advance, -- Mortimer Schnerd, RN Mschnerdatcarolina.rr.com |

Hi Mortimer,
Is Read Messages in Plain Text selected? This would prevent pictures from being displayed. There is a small security risk which this setting eliminates at the cost of some functionality. It is possible to keep reading messages in Plain Text and choose to view HTML content from a message's View menu on an individual basis. A quick explanation of the feature from the Microsoft KB: OLEXP: Using Virus Protection Features in Outlook Express 6 http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;EN-US;291387 -- Tim K. aka Kuay Tim MS-MVP - Outlook Express Lynnwood, WA * "Mortimer Schnerd, RN" mschnerdatcarolina.rr.com wrote in message ... Anything wrong with the answer you got in OE General posting as "George Z.
Bush" ??? Please respond to your original threads, and if you feel you must post to more than one group, please do not multi-post. Crosspost instead via New Post | Tools | Select Newsgroups. This way if a post is replied to in one group, it will also be replied to in the other group(s). But even crossposting is seldom necessary since those of us that check posts, do so in more than one newsgroup. Thank you. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Mortimer Schnerd, RN" mschnerdatcarolina.rr.com wrote in message ...
