Moving OE to a new computer
I was wondering if anybody could recommend either a freeware or fairly
inexpensive utility for moving all my OE settings and e-mails to a new computer. Thanks for any and all help. Phil |

You don't need any program, just some instructions.
Backup & Resto http://www.insideoutlookexpress.com/backup/ Backing up and Cloning your OE Identities: http://www.insideoutlookexpress.com/backup/clone.htm If you are transferring to another PC, and have access to a Windows XP setup CD, or if both computers are running Windows XP, see: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/IE/...pten.mspx#EBAA -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Phil" wrote in message ... Thanks for any and all help. Phil you can backup/export your messages and settings/address book to another drive or a cd. I use a program called safemail which I like and have been using for a few years. I then copy to a cd using Avantrix DVD version. These cost bucks but I find them easy and useful. Regards, |
