Adding contacts not working in Outlook Express 6

Hi,
adding contacts to address book when I replay to mail is not working. I
have put a check mark for ' Automatically put people I reply to in my Address
Book' in Send button under options. Still not working

Windows version?

Is MS Office and/or Outlook also installed?

Have you more than 999 contacts in Address Book?
