![]() To conserve disk space, from time to time I'd like to save an email message, but not one or more attachments that arrive with it. Currently, (and as originally suggested by someone on this site) I forward the message to myself without the attachment. That procedure works, but since I sometimes do it days or weeks after the original message was received, the date/time sequencing is thrown off. Is there any easy way to remove attachments from an email message? (I'm using W/2000, Outlook Express.) Thanks. -- ---------- CWLee "I appreciate those who walk out from the edges with torches or even in the dark with their hands out in front of them. We need those explorers and weirdos. Then you can drag it back into OE or save it outside OE. -- Frank Saunders, MS-MVP OE/WM http://www.fjsmjs.com Answer in newsgroup. Don't send mail. |

Wow! I tried that and it worked. As a novice it took me a while to figure out each step, and to locate Notepad, but eventually it all came together just fine. Many thanks. If you have multiple messages, its a lot easier with my OEX program to do
this. A single button click will do it for the entire folder. See www.oehelp.com/OEX/ steve "CWLee" wrote in message ... "Frank Saunders, MS-MVP OE/WM" wrote ...
