Since I had such great success on my last question I am hoping someone can
help me out here. When I get an email and there is a clickable link in it and I click on it nothing happens. Ideas? Thank you. Debbie |

Scroll down to [NONE] URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol (NOT URL:Internet Shortcut) and select it. Click Edit or Advanced, depending on your Windows version. Select 'open'. Click Edit. "Application used to perform this action" should read: "C:\PROGRAM FILES\INTERNET EXPLORER\iexplore.exe" -nohome (Check the path to iexplore.exe to make sure that is correct and use the double quotes.) I went to this place and when I went to file types I don't have URL

Try Control Panel | Add / Remove Programs | Set Defaults and set IE and OE

Yes you do. It's listed with the others with an extension of NONE or N/A.

That is what mine is like. I set IE and OE as default and still can't open a

Unless you have IE7 installed:
Try re-registering these dlls: Start | Run | type, or Copy/Paste, these in one at a time and try again. (Note the space in each command). regsvr32 Mshtml.dll regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll regsvr32 Shell32.dll regsvr32 actxprxy.dll regsvr32 shdocvw.dll regsvr32 urlmon.dll In IE, go to: ToolsInternet OptionsPrograms.
