Is there any way to keep those pesky messages that allude to the stock
market, and look like typewritten messages from downloading from the server?
I have tried using message filter rules such as prohibiting catchwords like
(Best buy, Hot stock etc but this does not seem to work.
Some one suggested to me that these messages may be sent as images and not
text. Is this possible, and if so, is there a way to stop it?

If they are HTML, message body rules will not work.

Message Rules not working?:

This program will let you delete messages before they are downloaded from
the server.
