Just now on the top of this group listing I see two threads starting with
the futuristic dates ("bootup xp" - Russell, 11/20/2006 and "total letdown
on outlook express ect" by jon de quincy, 11/12/2006). What to think about
this? Something is wrong but - where? On side of senders or on my provider
sender or on my system?

Hi Marek,

This is from the time set on the sender's machine. Often this is done
inadvertently, such as after reloading software. It can on occasion be done
purposefully to see one's post on top of the list for an extended time.

The easiest thing to do is delete such messages. A delete button (red X) can
be added to the toolbar to facilitate this action.
