how do i transfer my email address book from my desktop to my laptop

Open the Address Book and File | Export to any place on your HDD that is
easy for you. My Documents is fine. Copy it to CD or floppy. Download it to
a folder in your other machine and then, open the Address Book in the new
machine and File | Import and point to where you saved it.
