I downloaded IE7 yesterday. Now when I print incoming emails The Idenity;
the From:; To:; Sent:; Subject no longer prints, It prints the body of the email. How do I get that back? I am new at discussions groups so if this is in the wrong group, please point me in the right direction. |

We have seen this reported once previously, 4 days ago, but that user did not say he was using IE7. This will be passed on to MS, no guarantee of a solution though. -- Regards Steve. MS-MVP. OE. Click the pulldown arrow to the right of the printer icon in the Toolbar
near the top and check the settings for margins, plus headers and footers. Sounds like your prior settings were not carried over correctly. See the attached graphic for help (red circle around the pulldown arrow). -- Jim Pickering, MVP, Windows Mail Apps https://mvp.support.microsoft.com/pr...8-1171988A62D6 Please deliver feedback to the newsgroup, so that others can be helped. Jim, I am sorry, I don't see the attached graphic for help (red circle around
the pulldowon arrow). I have opened the page setup for the printer. I see how to set the margins and the headers (&w&bPage &p of &P) Footer (&w&bPage &p of &P) but don't understand what to do next. I don't know of a way to set it back to earlier settings. IE7 and OE have no relationship to one another anymore and earlier versions of IE had OE integrated with it, but that has ended. I'm assuming you installed IE7 from Microsoft in its final release and not during its earlier betas.
I'll add the graphic again in this note: Although, as I look at it, it is a rather lousy "circle." To understand the purpose of the headers and footer, open IE, then press F1 to open Help and search for "headers" or "footers" w/o quotes to see what each crypic comment that you can insert will do (and I see none there for adding the Sender, Subject, etc.). -- Jim Pickering, MVP, Windows Mail Apps https://mvp.support.microsoft.com/pr...8-1171988A62D6 "toby45" wrote in message ... So as I understand it, I am stuck with this and no way to get it back the way
it was before I upgraded. Will there be an OE upgrade? I thought I was installing the finished product and not a beta. I like the format and it is easy to work with, but I truly don't like what it did to my headers/footers. Can I unstall IE7 and go back to IE6. The headers/footers were very important to me. You should be able to uninstall via Control Panel/Add-Remove applet. Look
for "Windows Internet Explorer 7" which may be down toward the bottom of the list (and you will most likely have to reboot after uninstalling it). Then test and see if your problem goes away. -- Jim Pickering, MVP, Windows Mail Apps https://mvp.support.microsoft.com/pr...8-1171988A62D6 Please deliver feedback to the newsgroup, so that others can be helped. I suggest reading the following link...
Sandi's notes on "IE7 Gold", including Installation Tips http://msmvps.com/blogs/spywaresucks...18/182724.aspx ....and then uninstalling and reinstalling IE7 per Sandi's tips. Looks like something got horked during the installation.
