If you want complex filtering / classifying of email and still want to use
OE then your answer maybe a program called PopFile. I actually run PopFile on an old PC and filter through that for all the other PCs. Normally though you'd run it on the same PC. Yeah, that's me and its on the list.
Any other specific header fields? They are quite variable depending on the original email client and also what the servers do. It will be a feature soon of OEX: www.oehelp.com/OEX/ steve "JethroUK©" wrote in message ... i'll look forward to that- the rules 'as is' are quite limited and i'm sure
it will be a popular feature i don't really know a lot about header information except it is quite variable - even the fields seem inconsistent to break down for search purposes i would be inclined just to treat the whole header as one long string & give end user chance to search for a particular occurance (just like searching the message body) "Steve Cochran" wrote in message ... | Yeah, that's me and its on the list. | | Any other specific header fields? Yeah, there are different ways of doing things. Its a lot easier to search
for X headers. steve "JethroUK©" wrote in message ... i'll look forward to that- the rules 'as is' are quite limited and i'm sure it will be a popular feature i don't really know a lot about header information except it is quite variable - even the fields seem inconsistent to break down for search purposes i would be inclined just to treat the whole header as one long string & give end user chance to search for a particular occurance (just like searching the message body) "Steve Cochran" wrote in message ... | Yeah, that's me and its on the list. | | Any other specific header fields?
