OE 6 & Internet Explorer 7
Dear 'PA Bear" and fellow Microsoft MVP's:
I'm posting below question here as well in case it should have been placed within OE6 section as opposed to general OE section: I heard that Internet Explorer 7 is being released in a few weeks. Does anyone know how this will affect Outlook Express 6? I ask b/c IE has always been bundled with OE. I have Outlook Express organized in several folders and sub-folders (and utilize mail rules) and bring in POP3 email from MSN, Yahoo, and Gmail. I'm concerned about any migration to IE7 if it involves a new email program. I would be very appreciative if any Microsoft MVP's who kindly lend their assistance on these message boards, would let us know what's in store for those of us using (and greatly relying) on Outlook Express 6 (which for me has several years of emails). Note, I do use a back-up Outlook Express program called "Express Assist' by AJ Systems, but that is designed for Outlook Express 6. Thanks in advance for your assistance! :) |

IE 7 has been released and includes no changes to Outlook Express. There
will be no OE 7. --- Ted Zieglar "Backup is a computer user's best friend."
