Dont show contact's title
I recentlly imported contacts from Outlook via a CSV file. In that file I
had titles with name (Mr. John Smith). Now when I am sending an email and I type John in the To box I am expecting the name to be completed. However I realize that because it is has a title it will not appear. My question is this: Is there a way to automatically remove all the titles from my address book without having to manually do each one??? |

Dont show contact's title
I just realized that when I import the address the Title is sorted with the
first name, not in the title box. So in my example the First name appears as Mr. John and the Title box is empty Any suggestions "Frank Saunders, MS-MVP OE/WM" wrote in message ... Dont show contact's title
Take a look at the CSV file (you can use Notepad). Sounds like the
title was part of the first name field. To fix this, you'd need to wipe out the address book (or at least those entries) and then either fix the export in Outlook to not include the title or edit the CSV file before importing. -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "Nick C" wrote in message ... Then I would open the CSV with an editor with search and replace function; Wordpad will do. Then I would use the S&T to remove all the titles. Then save the file, and re-import. -- Norman ~Shine, bright morning light, ~now in the air the spring is coming. ~Sweet, blowing wind, ~singing down the hills and valleys.
