You have a malware infection. Go to Tools | Options | Security and make
sure "Warn me when other applications are trying to send mail as me" is
checked. Then work on removing the malware.

So How Did I Get Infected Anyway?
For quite a few people it's by installing Messenger Plus, whose default
install is loaded with malware. See also:

Don't ever do a "default" install of anything. Always choose Custom and see
what else is being carried along.

Frank,

please get your facts straight before posting. There is no such thing
as a custom installation mode in Messenger Plus! and there is no
default option for the sponsor either, users always have to select if
they want the ads or not when installing.

Regards,
Patchou

When you stop bundling all that malware with Messenger Plus or make it
clearer that your sponsors are malware.
