Save one to the desktop then right click and choose open with from the menu.
You should see a window with a selection of programs or an option to search the web or choose from a list (Depends on which Windows you have a bit). When you get the list check the box "Always open with" and then browse to c:\program files\outlook express and choose msimn.exe Outlook express used to be called Microsoft Internet Mail and News hence the odd file name. Hope this works for you but if not there is another method if it doesn't. Charlie "paul Masson" wrote in message ... I have been receiving email that sometimes has, what appears to be, a EMAIL extension, like a wmv for a movie clip. When I try and process the email I get a msg. returned that says I have NO pgm. associated with the attachment. I have searched for email, on this group, but get everything associated with email back and can't find my particular problem Thank You -- Paul Masson |
