Hi All:

I used the reply function with this email and it bounced back undeliverable,
address unknown. The address is correct in their email as I used the right
click function to see if they put in wrong on their end.

For some reason, the return address was changed by one letter and thus the
bounced.

The correct address is in my addr. book, so I forwarded the email and they
received the bounced message.

Is there a corrective procedure?

tks all

As Ron indicates, tell the person to go to Tools | Accounts | Mail |
Properties (if they are using OE) and there they need to fix the error.

Nice solution Ron, I was able to find out that they have it set up wrong on
their end. Problem for me is that these 60+ yr old folks can't even figure
out AOL, so trying to get them to work on this is hard, they are currently
on .ctc Internet provider. I'm just hoping everyone else will start
howling to them about it, then they will call "Geek" squad unfortunately.

tks again

bill

In Outlook Express, Tools, Accounts, Mail tab, left click on an account to
highlight, Properties, Reply To address.

There is no need for them to have a Reply To address, so they can just
delete it.
