My friend says she has suddenly lost her toolbar in OE. To do anything she
now has to go into File etc.

I suggested she look in layout she said it was checked there and she had
also gone into customize but didn't solve the problem.

The only change she could remember making on her PC was putting a photo up
as a background on the desktop.

Are there any other suggestion as to why this may have happened.?

Thanks for all your help.

B.W.

You may have a damaged identity especially if it is the default Main
Identity. File | Identity | Add New Identity. Create a new one and test it.
If all is well, you can import your messages and Address Book from the old
identity and delete it.
