fair enough

but it would be more logical to have an ie7 group
instead of mixing them all together

Perhaps it would be more logical, and I wouldn't doubt you will see that
someday, especially after Vista is released, but you have to remember three
things.

1: You're dealing with MS here. eg

2: IE General covers all versions of IE just as OE General covers all
versions of OE

3: You're asking this in the Outlook Express 6 newsgroup. Just because you
use OE as your newsreader, it doesn't mean that we have the answers for
other newsgroups you access using OE.

why no IE7 group ?

The IE Team has assured us that an English language, IE7-specific newsgroup
will be offered soon. Then we'll just need a Vista-specific IE7 newsgroup.
