Background Music

I've a friend using OE6. I've instructed her on inserting background music
& graphics. However, when she adds music using FormatBackgroundSound and
inserts a midi or wav file, she can hear it on her end, but none of the
recipients of her Email can hear the music.
Any suggestions?

Can she hear it in Sent Items? If she can, the problem is not on her end.

Bruce,
Think I figured it from a similar problem I had a year or so ago ( I
remember hearing in my sent Folder but no one else could), she was putting
CD tracks, mp3s, as background music. I sent her some midi & wav files and
they came through okay.

I believe you have it. MP3 is not supported by OE. MIDI and WAVs are, (maybe
some others), but not an MP3.

What mail programs are the recipients using? Not all mail programs
support the background sound.

Mike,
Problem was she was trying to put a CD track as background music in OE6 and
as I found out before & Bruce confirmed, OE6 does not support mp3s in the
background.
