Thanks for that PA Bear. I am working on this for a friend and I had already suggested this but that's not what he wanted, just wants a border around text in an email. Thanks anyway though.

He could always insert the desired text in a box, and if familiar with the use of CSS, could also create colored scroll bars, or just use a background color for emphasis. This assumes that the message will be formatted as a HTML message.

You can put a border around it too.

I ended showing him how to do it in Word, adding an art border and sending
