changing identity fails
This is a weird one that just started recently. Using OE 6.0.2900.2180. I
have a total of 4 identities on this computer; main (not used), backup (for archiving only), and two active ones. One personal account and one business account that has a password to access. I switch between these two active identities pretty regularly. I use the file/switch identity switch. If I go from the business to the personal it works fine all the time. But about half the time when I go to switch from personal to business, although it blanks out briefly as usual , it returns to the personal identity even after entering the correct password and making sure the business identity is highlighted on the list. If I try again, it usually switches okay. Ideas? It isn't World peace, but it is irritating. ;) Thanks in advance. Pamela |

You may have some corruption in one or more Identities. I'd do a backup and
then in each Identity do a File | Folder | Compact all and see if that helps at all. It could also be that OE isn't making the proper registry change when you switch and there may not be anything you can do about it. Make sure no 3rd party programs are interfering.
