I do not seem to be able to send emails when I click the send button it
gives me a message "host unknown" as i am sending through BT I thought that
was the host - very confused and a tad well a lot ignorant on these matters!
Prob won't be able to send this one either!

Have you made sure your settings for the account are all as specified on the
BT Web site?

That means that you have not correctly specified the SMTP mail server
name in OE at Tools, Accounts, Mail, Properties, Servers.

You need to check with BT for the correct server name and other
settings.
