central data-storage with OE
 
Hello,

I'm using OE 6. I have 3 PC's connected to a router. I want to connect a
external hard disk (UTP-connection) as well. Then I want to use this device
for the storage of my mail.

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to do so"? I can imagine problems and
conflicts the moment two or more persons open their mail at the same time.
In total there are six mail-accounts divided over the 3 PC's. From each PC
all accounts must can be used.

OE won't do that. Look for a network capable program like Outlook.

An option is to run your own local mail server that accesses the ISP via
POP3 and then provides IMAP support to your local PCs. For examples of
such a programs, see:
