My OEX program (http://www.oehelp.com/OEX/Default.aspx) has now been updated
to work for both Outlook Express (XP and other OS's) and Windows Mail (Windows Vista). The program has also been re-written to improve functionality and performance. The various features are the same in both OE and WinMail and include: Removing duplicate messages Importing messages from other dbx files or eml files Removing attachments from messages Saving attachments from messages Converting messages to Plain Text only Exporting messages as eml files Saving lists of messages in folders Sending messages again Editing sent messages to send again Note that Windows Mail users can directly import from individual dbx files (non-corrupt) into the WinMail message store using OEX. Messages can then be imported across a network or from CD backups. More to come! cheers, steve Stephen L. Steve/anyone, encountering error message Address Book WAB cannot be
opened after migrating to Vista? I'm using Outlook 2000 as part of MS Office Premium 2000. I have been doing some research and it seeds this is an old OE v6 problem that seems to be carried in Windows Mail? Outlook 2000 depended on the WAB file for sharing Contacts between it and
Outlook Express. For that reason, I do not believe OFC2K is supported in Vista (since it does not use or have a WAB file) but you'd do better by asking in an Office newsgroup. -- Jim Pickering MVP-Windows Mail applications https://mvp.support.microsoft.com/pr...8-1171988A62D6 Please reply only to the newsgroup. Hi Steve, I have a question about your outlook express program that is going
to help me. I would like to know if there are any improvements to the program after I have purchased it from you, will I somehow get these updates (free of charge)? I didn't realise he was selling it. There was no mention of sales in any of
his announcements. . wrote in message ... The whole program is free. "NYCMOM" wrote in message ... Hi Steve, I have a question about your outlook express program that is going to help me. It says on the website:
"Upgrades to registered users will be provided free of charge through version 2 of OEX. Send an email to request update information. " It took me 2 years to get to version 2, so I imagine there will be some revisions before I get to 3. Any upgrade costs to version 3 or higher for registered users won't be much. I just wanted to reserve the opportunity to charge more if I add significant features. steve "NYCMOM" wrote in message ...
