Outllok reinstall on Vista
Had Outlook (Office 2000) installed on my old Windows ME machine. Used it
basically for a contacts directory. Never used it for mail, used Outlook Express. Went to new Vista machine and reinstalled Office 2000 mainly to get the Excel and Word installed. Was going to again use Outlook for contacts directory. Everything seemed to OK. But upon running Outlook I keep getting "Outlook Start up " window. As I try to work through this start up routine I get message error message " can't find file WAB.DLL". I went back to my old machine and WAB.DLL was no where on my hard drive. But "OUTWAB.DLL" was there, Weird..Any thoughts? Tom |

Maybe it would help to keep all different types of software on your computer
as new as possible, especially the one's that are relied upon for communications. To eliminate that error, you must install Outlook in Corporate Mode rather
than Internet Mode only. You can find more info about that at this link: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/index.htm -- Jim Pickering, MVP/Windows Mail applications Please reply ONLY to newsgroup.
