Send / Rec window stays on screen
 

Look in the lower right hand corner of that dialog. There is a push pin
icon. Click it once.

That is a toggle (click to turn on, click to turn off) as to whether or
not the dialog should remain after a successful send and receive. The
dialog always remains after an error.
