I recently added my sons address onto my addresses, he is a user on my
computer as well. In my logon screen I now have 66 msgs from hm. However
he hasn't sent them and I have no unread msgs when I log in. Can any one
help.

I am inferring that you added your son as a Windows User.
The logon screen tells how many messages are in the user's Inbox. When you
logon as your son how many messages do you see?

Or do you mean you added him to your Address Book in Outlook Express? If
this is the case then I don't have any idea what you mean.

Have you looked at your hotmail or msn account lately?

Compliments of Kelly:

Use TweakUI/Logon/Unread Mail and Repair/Unread Mail Count

Disable Unread Mail on the Welcome Screen (Line 100)
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

To remove an account or to change the count manually:

StartRunRegeditnavigate to this key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\UnreadMail\[Your
E-Mail Address]. In the right pane modify: Message Count, Change it to 0.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\UnreadMail. In
the right pane modify: MessageExpiryDays Change it to 0.
