There is a lots to understand in this link, that I really don't
understand....

Is the best method to correct this problem is to download the "small
registry file" ? After the "small registry file" is downloaded then merged,
does it change only the problem with using the eml files?

Thanks again,
Sandy

I'm not understanding your question. First, your message headers indicate
that you are fully patched, so the patched mentioned should not be an issue.

What I don't understand is what you mean that it won't open with the Send
button? When I save a template, I save it as an .eml file and save it to the
Desktop. I click on the icon and the new message window that I have created
opens up. The Send button doesn't open templates.

In the past, when I would open my eml stationery, it would open with the
send button visible, like it appears when I do a post to this newsgroup or
use OE to send an email. Attached, is what is looks like now and the only
way I can the send button to show up, is to forward the eml stationery and
go from there.......

Help is greatly appreciated.
Sandy

OK. you got the patch, (I believe), but a registry setting needs to be made.
Download the patch at the first link. If it says it already exists,
disregard. Either way, go to the last link and the registry change can be
done with a click of the mouse

Patch KB918766:
http://tinyurl.com/mx3r2

This patch addresses some of the issues that were caused by KB911567.

Address Book problems.
Unsent templates appearing as sent.
Manually compacting will now reset the registry counter to Zero in WinXP/SP2
and also sends a copy of your dbx files to the recycle bin as a temporary
backup.

To complete the fix for .eml templates, a registry change is needed. See:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/918766

Tom Koch also has this information at his site, along with a downloadable
Zip file to do the registry change for you. See:
