Default Text size - how to change?

I can see how to change the text size of Preview Pane - OE/view/text size,
but how do I change the size of Folders List and also Messages List.

Default Text size - how to change?

Right click on the Desktop | Properties | Appearance. If there is an
Advanced button click that. In the Item drop-down box select Icon. Change
the font size there.

Note that this will change the font size in some other places as well.
