Why am I unable "to connect to server" with any of the ng's in 'aioe.org'?
A few days ago I could connect, but not send a reply. Appreciate an answer and a fix, if possible. Harry. |

It may well be the news server. I only use MSnews and that occasionally
happens to me. If rebooting, or resetting your modem, (unplug the power. Wait 30 seconds, and plug it back in), doesn't work, try removing the account in Tools | Accounts | News, reboot and add it back. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "webster72n" wrote in message ... Will try that, Bruce, thank you. In case the problem would persist, "I shall return". Harry. "Bruce Hagen" wrote in message ... It may well be the news server. I'm sure it's a server issue, Sunny. Let's wait a couple of days. Where could we get some info on this? Harry. "Sunny" wrote in message ... I get a "failed reply" now and then, but only if there are too many cross posted NGs (4 is the max I think) or "too much original text in a reply" Their FAQ covers a few instances.
