unsecured networks
i have a wireless router that we use in my house and my neighbor shares. To
be on the safe side, i know i should use a password. If you are using a public wifi that doesn't require a password, how can you protect yourself from being hacked into? Somewhere there is the option to turn off remote assistance. Will this help? thanks. cone |

Use a firewall. If you have XP then that one is usually adequate.
