Downloading headers automatically but not messages

Using Windows 2000 and I've got OE6 in both the Administrator and user
profiles. For some reason in the Administrator profile the headers in the
message pane don't automatically send the message text to the Preview Pane.
Instead the headers need to be individually double clicked (i.e., new
window) to get the messages downloaded to this computer. In the user profile
the messages are downloaded automatically. I tried resetting all the
newsgroup messages headers but it made no difference - can't figure out what
setting in OE is different in the two profiles.

As near as I can remember it's checked by default, so someone must have
unchecked it.
