Default Reply + Logitech G3 Mouse Extra Buttons Bug.

Hello,

I have a Logitech G3 Mouse with extra side buttons.

I set those side buttons to don't do anything.

When I accidently press those buttons outlook express adds "" to the
text ? each time the button is pressed ?!? WEIRD !!

I shall provide example in this thread.

Bye,
Skybuck.

Look what happens when I type new text here and press the
buttons:

WEIRD.

Can I disable this "functionality" ?

Bye,
Skybuck.

This is a problem with your mouse, not Outlook Express. Personally, I would
set them to do something, (Forward Page, Back Page, etc.), but this is not
the place to ask.

The mouse has no issue's with other editor programs.

So it seems like an outlook express bug/issue to me !

Bye,
Skybuck.

Hmm maybe I spoke to soon.

I did a search on that forum.

It mentions the setpoint software overwrites the thumb buttons for certain
applications.

Nothing can be done about it so far it reads...

Long link splitted up manually:

So I see. Like many third party programs, it seems that this mouse doesn't
play nice with OE.

Good information to know. Thanks for posting that.
