How to retrieve a'lost' mail box ?

Would appreciate advice please on how to get a mail box
back into OE6

I had partially read an email while it was sitting in
Mailwasher Pro

OE6 was non responsive when I down loaded this email and a
few others earlier tonight . The screen lock up and I
landed up re booting .

The mail box my partially read email went into had
disappeared

I did a search for just .DBX and this mail box is still
there but not visible in OE6

I had a look at importing but the mail box is there just
cant see/access it

I copied it to desktop but then couldn't see how to get
it back into OE ???

HELP ............How to I make it visible again ?

TIA

Bye

Is this a user created folder? I don't know what you mean by mail box. If
the folder is missing in OE, but you have it on the Desktop, then follow
these instructions.

Open OE and create a folder with the *exact* same name as the one on the
Desktop. Open the new folder and then close OE. Go to Windows Explorer and
locate the Message Store folder for your OE identity, but don't open it.
Click on the Desktop and drag the file from the Desktop in the right hand
pane to the OE store folder in the left pane. Prompt - "Do you want to
overwrite......."? Click Yes.

Many thanks for your help with this
I took the easier option of making a new mail folder .
That near enough fixed the problem and that particular
mail is archived elsewhere
