Desktop Icons.

When I try to move a desktop icon, by drag ,it moves just one space up
and moves all the rest on space.
I used to be able to move them where I wanted but alas I must have
done something wrong.
Can I remidy this?
Also.
Can I reduce them in size, they have become quite large.
(Hope this is the right group for this question)

Right click on the desktop and choose the Arrange Icons by option and
uncheck align to grid.

Many thanks, icons now in my order.Next.
With larger icons I find that when I open some pages ,the text is off
to the right and I cannot get to the top right hand corner where I can
click to close or maximize I have tried the method to drag but with no
avail.
Any ideas please.

Peter,

Not really an Outlook Express question, but...........

Right click on the button for the open window on the Taskbar and select
Move. Now use the arrow keys to get it in the screen. Close all other
windows except this one and use the cursor to drag the message to full
screen size. File | Exit, and Windows will remember the size when you open
it again.
