OE server times out Error Number 0x800CCC19
 
I have been getting Error 0x800CCC19 for the last two weeks in OE. Before
that all was working fine. I have PC-Cillin and reduced incoming scanning
sensitivity to low. This did not help. Tried pinging POP3.email server, and
it timed out 4 times in a row, server receiving zero packets (100% loss).
This prblm doesn't appear to be at my end, as I haven't made any changes.
What to do?

OE server times out Error Number 0x800CCC19
 
Turn off e-mail scanning completely. It could be other things as well. Your
firewall, a spam program, etc. The entire error message would help.

What is the full name of the pop email server provided by your isp ?
Here are some examples
pop.earthlink.net
pop3.email.msn.com
pop3.live.com
