![]() "Azh" wrote in message ... Yes I am running Windows XP - SP2 and have the inetcomm.dll for that version. This just started two days ago - I have cleaned out files; have run Adware and Spyblaster; scandisk and defragment - have even tried Restore back before it happened - I will check out some of these websites - strange that it should suddenly clear up and then when I turned on computer this morning it works. I am having to use the News Surfer here to write to the newsgroup. My mail is coming in just find and sending when I forward something. Just still get the blank emails and they won't open. Have you tried building a new identity? Corrupt identities have shown some very strange problems. |

See this link for how to create a new identity in OE
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/209169 You would set up the new identity identical to your current "default" settings and it should seamlessly get your mail. Then if all works well with the new identity, import your address book and old mail into the new identity and delete the old identity. "Azh" wrote in message ... I would recommend compacting all OE folders in the old identity before importing its folders into the new identity. -- ~PA Bear Richard in AZ wrote: See this link for how to create a new identity in OE http://support.microsoft.com/kb/209169 You would set up the new identity identical to your current "default" settings and it should seamlessly get your mail. I ended up uninstalling my McAfee virus scan, etc. and reinstalling it as it was a newer version from my server. I then did another Restore only further back about l month. Then I had to do the ten Windows Updates once again. Knock on wood but everything seems to be working great once again and the inetcomm.dll file must be now sticking. Thanks for all your help! Azh |
