Backing up OE Mail files

I assume the OE 6 Win XP Home email messages are stored in the following
folder:

Docs & Settings | Owner | Local Settings | Application Data | Identities |
{Gibberish} | Microsoft | Outlook Express

This folder contains a set of files with extension dbx

So, if I want to preserve the email messages against the possibility of a
subsequent computer crash, I assume that this folder is sufficient.

Q1. Is my assumption correct?

Q2. I note that the Identities folder contains TWO subfolders:\\{Gibberish
1} | Microsoft | OE, and a similar but different {Gibberish 2} | Microsoft |
OE

Each OE folder appears to hold the same files. What's going on? Can
backing up one of the sets suffice?

This freeware tool backs up everything in OE in seconds. Disregard what is
written in red. That is referring to a different program.
