Default Address Bar

A friend has IE-6 (I have IE-7 so am not sure how to help). He doesn't seem
to have the address bar space for typing in URLs. I right clicked on the
toolbar at the top (if that's what it is called) and there is a checkmark
for Address Bar, but no address bar. I did see the word Address WAY to the
right, but there didn't seem to be any thing (i.e. drop down menu) to do
with the word. How can he get the Address Bar back?

Default Address Bar

Oh, I'm sorry, the whole address doesn't show in my list of NewsGroups, and
I thought it WAS the browser group. I'll post it there now.
