Default Printing Problems

Am unable to print e-mails from OE. Problem just appeared. Can print from
MSWord and other applications (like from IE).
Sent a query to Epson tech support and answer suggested I check with MS.
Running XPHE SP2, Epson C40+ printer.
Can someone help? Thanks

Maybe "URL: res//C:\windows\system32\shdoclc.dll/preview.dlg" error?

See if this helps:

Vince: I do not get any error messages at all. Just failure to see print
preview window and no printing.

Try going to Start | Program Access and Defaults and set OE as the default
and see if that fixes it.

The fix for this problem is often to go to Start | Run and type
regsr32 ole32.dll
and press Enter.

Why this is the fix works sometimes is a mystery. I suspect that the
problem is caused by some piece of spyware or adware or maybe the removal of
same, just like the removal of some spyware breaks the Winsock stack and
people have to use LSPFix (http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm) to fix it. (For
the latter WinXP SP2 users only have to run
netsh winsock reset
from a Cmd window.

Try rebooting after doing that. Someone posted it worked after they
rebooted.

Also what programs are running in the background? Maybe one of them keeps
breaking it.
