Default Empty Folders!

Not sure what happened, but my wife came to me this morning and said that
several of her Outlook Express email folders had become empty. Does not seem
to be any pattern but more than a dozen folders (created under the Inbox)
have gone empty. There were several critical emails in many of these
folders.

When I look at the message store the .dbx file size is still quite large for
each of the "empty" folders.

Is there any way to recover the emails that were in these folders? Does
anyone have an explanation for what could have happened?

All help is appreciated.

-Paras

Answered in another newsgroup to which you posted the identical question.
Please do not "scattergun" individual postings to multiple newsgroups.
Learn how to crosspost so that a message, marked as read in one newsgroup,
is marked as read in all of them to which it may be posted.
