help maybe virus?
 

i cannot send and receive e-mail on my pc..
using outlook express6 or oulook 2003...i get a
timed out could not find server thingy...all my settings
are correct..my pc somtimes will not shut down , or
starts up by itself .it's really messed up ..help....
p.s.my e-mail works on other pc's ..its a pop account

Is Norton Internet Security (NIS) or Personal Firewall (NPF) installed?

i do have norton anti virus+firewall 2004..but even when i disable norton
,it still wont work ..i also disable e-mail scanning ..its got somethin

Any particular reason you do not want to post the whole message?
Are you sure the account settings are what your email provider recommends?
