There are many third party usenet providers, both free and for cost. Find
them with a search of the internet. For example:
http://www.google.com/search?q=usenet+provider

For the Microsoft newsgroups (like this one) set up this server:

msnews.microsoft.com

The server is free and does not require you to logon.
