Default outlook mail not working now

This is usually caused by scanning e-mail, or an anti-spam program.

Turn off e-mail scanning in your anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer
of protection that eats up CPUs and causes a multitude of problems such as
time-outs and account setting changes. Your up-to-date A/V program will
continue to protect you sufficiently. For more, see:

How to troubleshoot error messages that you receive when try to send and
receive e-mail in Outlook and in Outlook Express:

Have tried this and several other suggestions; however any attachment of 1.0 mg or larger results in the same termination and error msg as above.
