Yes, I just tried that but that just inverts all the messages from
first to last and back in the exact order they were.But when they come
in and are listed by senders name, they go to wherever in the list that
persons name is, so they are all over.That's why I say I have to look
for new messages so that I find the new ones.

Ron suggestion to hide read messages would allow me to be able to find
the new messages easier, but I would like to keep them visible so that
I can refer to them when I need to.


The there must be corruption in the Registry. The easy solution will be to
export you accounts (Tools | Accounts), set up a new Identity and import the
accounts. After verifying that the identity is working you can import the
messages from the old identity (File | Import).

I will try do that, and hope that will solve the problem. I just hope
that after getting it fixed, there will not be trouble tomorrow when
that virus called Blackworm is supposed to be triggered.This virus is
said to disable most antivirus software. Does anyone here feel that it
is a serious threat?
