OE Spell Check Problem
I'm running OE 6, SP2, but the spell check doesn't work. Any suggestions on
how to get it working again? Bob |
OE Spell Check Problem
OE 6 does not come with its own spell check. You need Word or an MS Office
program. The spell checker in the basic Works 4 through 6 will work with OE. Older and newer versions do not. If you have Works Suite, that includes MS Word and a spell checker that does work with OE. If you have such a program, see: Spell Checking does not work in OE: http://mvps.org/PracticallyNerded/OE...ll%20check.htm Or: http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/spellcheck.htm And: An error occurred while the spelling was being checked or: Spell Check was halted: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=224176 -- Bruce Hagen MS MVP - Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Bob Bush" wrote in message ... Well, I've got Works 8 which I thought had Word in it, but the only thing that seems to be working is Tinyspell at the moment. Thanks! "Bruce Hagen" wrote in message ... It's better anyway. -- Bruce Hagen MS MVP - Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Bob Bush" wrote in message ...
