cannot open links in emails

I have a similar problem that all started with an unsuccessful download of
Live Mail. Under direction of help desk I finally was able to delete Windows
Live Essentials, but soon after that I was unable to open EML & WMV
attachments. I am sure that some directions received inadvertantly distroyed
or deleted something that was required, I am now hanging with no help and no
further help will be available unless I pay.

I cannot open links embedded in emails when using outlook express 6. I do not
receive any error messages at all when clicking on them. I click on them and
nothing. I don't have any trouble opening file attachments, pictures or
videos, just links to other web sites, pages or "mail to" links. Any one have
this problem?

thanks RayS
